His current research emphasizes nutritional and nutraceutical pharmacology along with commercial development in these areas. Robert has produced 115 peer-reviewed research articles in biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, nutraceutical intervention, and clinical nutrition.

His diverse apologetics interests include the origin of life, coordinate bioprocesses as evidence for design, and the resurrection and spread of the early church (especially from a marketing and subjective experience perspective). He also addresses philosophical objections to Christianity and the question: Can modern individuals experience God’s leading? Robert has taken classes in New Testament Greek, has begun an apologetics website, and has written a book on God’s leading titled God Leads Personally: Why It’s True and How It Works.

Robert resides in Columbus, Ohio, with Janet, his wife of almost 50 years. He enjoys vigorous exercise and plays fantasy baseball and football.
