Tera McCown teaches political science, public policy, and public administration at West Virginia State University. She holds a PhD in political science from West Virginia University. Her research interests are policy analysis, educational attainment of foster youth, and best practices in teaching research methods. She and her husband live in Charleston, West Virginia.

Fuz Rana is a biochemist, author, and Christian apologist specializing in human origins, genetics, and the scientific evidence for design. President, CEO, and senior scholar at Reasons to Believe (RTB), he formerly served as a senior scientist in research and development at Procter & Gamble. Rana earned a BS in chemistry with highest honors from West Virginia State College (now University) and a PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry from Ohio University.
