Sean Oesch helps lead research at the intersection of machine learning and security at a national laboratory. He also slings code, mentors students, and asks tough questions of data. Sean received his PhD in computer engineering from the University of Tennessee. Sean enjoys helping people grow and navigate complex questions about philosophy, science, and Scripture. He’s currently interested in finding ways that artificial intelligence (AI) can benefit society and how Christianity can inform the ethical quandaries surrounding the rapid growth of AI.
