Bob Nisbet is an experienced manager of data mining platform design and operations. His original training was in botany, with specialties in plant ecology and paleobotany. He holds a PhD in botany and ecology from Arizona State University. He taught and conducted research for many years at several universities and as a researcher in forest growth modeling at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to retirement, he was a data scientist for 20+ years at AT&T and NCR Corporation, where he led the yield management analytical team. He is the author of several books.
