Nicholas Leadbeater has been a professor of chemistry at the University of Connecticut (UConn) since 2004. He received a PhD in chemistry from the University of Cambridge, UK. His main area of research is in the field of organic chemistry, specifically developing methods to make molecules in cleaner, greener ways. Nicholas is passionate about teaching and mentorship. He has developed new lecture and lab-based courses that train future chemists through exposure to state-of-the-art chemical reactions, equipment, and educational tools.
