Joseph W. Bergeron earned his MD at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Drawing from decades of experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries, he published peer-reviewed articles on Jesus’s cause of death in the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine and on the hallucination hypothesis in the Irish Theological Quarterly alongside Gary Habermas. He is the author of The Crucifixion of Jesus: A Medical Doctor Examines the Death and Resurrection of Christ and lectures at conferences, churches, and universities.
