Charles Nash holds an MS and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He spent 36 years at Savannah River National Laboratory researching ion exchange, waste oxidation, and radioactive filtration. Now consulting part-time, he lives in North Augusta, South Carolina, and enjoys cycling, gold prospecting, and Old Testament apologetics.

President, CEO, and senior scholar at Reasons to Believe (RTB), he formerly served as a senior scientist in research and development at Procter & Gamble. Rana earned a BS in chemistry with highest honors from West Virginia State College (now University) and a PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry from Ohio University.
