Darren Williams is a professor of physical chemistry and leader of the cleaning research group at Sam Houston University. He holds a PhD in chemistry from Oregon State University and has applied infrared and Raman spectroscopy to polymer-bound explosive analysis, surface analysis, and cleaning verification. Lately, his interests have turned to solvent blend modeling, formulation, and analysis as it relates to industrial cleaning of medical devices, aerospace components, and printed circuit boards. He has published over two dozen articles and book chapters and holds two patents.
