Aubrey Lee Cartwright earned his PhD from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Salisbury University. He held postdoctoral positions in physiologyat the University of Georgia and USDAARS in Athens, Georgia. He later taught multiple courses, such as nutrition, food chemistry, and biochemistry, at Texas A&M University. Aubrey enjoys classic literature and gardening.

President, CEO, and senior scholar at Reasons to Believe (RTB), he formerly served as a senior scientist in research and development at Procter & Gamble. Rana earned a BS in chemistry with highest honors from West Virginia State College (now University) and a PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry from Ohio University.
