Playing the Evolutionary Shell Game Blog by Joe Aguirre ( September 25, 2006 ) Unsuspecting tourists fall prey to the age-old shell game all the time. The skilled sidewalk operator rapidly rearranges the three shells around and the tourist bets he can guess where the pea is. Only after losing his “shirt” or authorities arrive—does he realize there’s no winning. I’ve tried this game (just for fun) with my kids at home on the kitchen table but since I have no skill the kids often guess correctly. Some evolutionary biologists play a similar game—only their ruse involves words, not money, and far greater consequences. (See Hugh Ross’s article, The Shell Game of Evolution and Creation.) JFK: The Man Who Seemingly Had It All Blog by Kenneth Samples ( January 25, 2022 ) Can anything or anyone in human experience replace the yearning for a right relationship with our Creator? The worldview narrative of historic Christianity involves the fourfold sequence of humanity’s creation, fall, redemption, and consummation. In examining the first two events, one could say that being created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26–27) makes people […] People
Interstellar Rocks Miss the Mark Publication by Guest Writer ( April 1, 2001 ) Where, when, and how did life originate? Answers to these questions prove more elusive than ever to the science community—specifically to those who demand a naturalistic answer. Because of the short timescales required for the complicated leap from nonlife to life on planet Earth, some nontheistic scientists propose that life originated elsewhere in the galaxy. This thinking belongs to a theory called “panspermia” (pan-SPUR-mee-uh), which says that life on Earth got its start in dormant life arriving from space. Chemistry
How to Prepare Earth for Animals Publication by Jeff Zweerink ( November 24, 2014 ) Most larger construction projects usually include one critical step when multiple things have to come together at the right time and in the right way. When building an addition onto the back of my house, that step occurred when erecting the walls. Geology & Earth

Creationism in the Classroom? Multimedia by Hugh Ross ( February 28, 2017 ) Is it a bad idea to teach creationism in the classroom if it is supported by sound science? In this interview on The Ride Home with John & Kathy, hosts John Hall and Kathy Emmons talk with Hugh Ross about Senate Bill 55 and the controversy of giving teachers the right to challenge Darwinian evolution. Song of the Intestine: So Kill Me, Maybe Publication by Guest Writer ( September 1, 2013 ) Human digestive systems perform a stunning array of tasks to break down food and absorb nutrients. Digestion is spatially and temporally coordinated across many organs to ensure that enzymes (which break down food) arrive as needed. Mucus along the gastrointestinal tract protects a single layer of cells (termed the epithelial cell [EC] lining) from the acidic enteric soup (ensuring you are not digested!) In this location, the intestinal lining, which is required to secure energy and other key nutrients, acts as the first line of defense against invading viruses, harmful bacteria, and parasites. Did Neanderthals Produce Cave Paintings? Blog by Fazale “Fuz” Rana ( April 25, 2018 ) One time when our kids were little, my wife and I discovered that someone had drawn a picture on one of the walls in our house. Though all of our children professed innocence, it was easy to figure out who the culprit was, because the little artist also wrote the first letter of her name on the wall next to her “masterpiece.” Human Origins & Anthropology
Did God Create the Universe and Earth at the Same Time? Publication by Hugh Ross ( January 7, 2022 ) Question of the week: How do you answer skeptics like Michael Shermer who assert that the Bible got it wrong from the first verse? They point out that Genesis 1:1 states that God created both the universe and Earth in the beginning. Astronomical observations establish that Earth did not form until more than nine billion […] Bible
