How Do Christians’ Relationships with God Differ from Adam’s before He Sinned?

Question of the week:Adam and Eve before they sinned against God had a continually intimate, loving relationship with God. In what ways and to what degrees are the relationships that Christians have today with God the same or different from the pre-sin relationship Adam and Eve had with God?

My answer:One of the biggest differences is that Christians today still have sin in their lives while Adam and Eve at that time had none. The other big difference is that Adam and Eve lacked an eternally secure relationship with God whereas Christians today, thanks to the baptism in the Holy Spirit, possess such an eternally secure relationship. Where the relationships are the same is that both Christians today and Adam and Eve before they sinned have continual access to God.
