From humble beginnings to a global ministry—four decades of showing the world that science and faith don’t just coexist, they point to the same truth.

  • 1983

    Focus on the Family Interview

    Dr. Hugh Ross’s appearance sparked an unexpected wave of interest and RTB’s first mailing list.

  • 1986

    RTB Established

    Founded by astrophysicist Hugh Ross with a singular mission: to draw people to faith in Christ by showing that science and the Bible are not at odds.

  • 1989

    First Book, The Fingerprint of God

    Dr. Hugh Ross gave scholars and seekers alike the latest scientific evidence for God’s transcendent creation of the universe, as the Bible declares.

  • 1990

    Apologetics Community Launched

    A grassroots movement of Christians arose, united around a shared passion for sharing the harmony between science and faith.

  • 1992

    “Reasons to Believe” TV program

    RTB’s science-faith message reached a broader audience, planting seeds that would grow into a global ministry.

  • 1995

    First Website

    Among the first ministries on the web, RTB embraced the internet as a tool for spreading the science-faith message worldwide.

  • 1997

    Classic Logo Introduced

    The visual identity that would represent RTB’s mission for decades made its debut.

  • 2003

    Reasons Institute Launched

    RTB formalized its commitment to equipping Christians through structured theological and scientific education.

  • 2011

    Scholar Community Launched

    A global network of Christian academics and professionals united around RTB’s mission to engage the world with evidence-based faith.

  • 2022

    Fuz Rana Announced as Successor

    Biochemist and longtime RTB scholar Fazale Rana was announced as the next leader of the ministry, carrying the mission forward.
