Stan Wallace

Dr. Stan Wallace is president of Global Scholars, a ministry that equips Christian scholars in pluralistic universities to have a redemptive influence for Christ. He has done doctoral studies in philosophy at Marquette University and holds a doctor of ministry in Engaging Mind and Culture from Talbot School of Theology. He has served as an adjunct professor of philosophy at several institutions and has written about the integration of faith and scholarship in academic and ministry journals.

Biography

Dr. Stan Wallace is president of Global Scholars, a ministry that equips Christian scholars in pluralistic universities to have a redemptive influence for Christ. He has done doctoral studies in philosophy at Marquette University and holds a doctor of ministry in Engaging Mind and Culture from Talbot School of Theology. He has served as an adjunct professor of philosophy at several institutions and has written about the integration of faith and scholarship in academic and ministry journals. Wallace has contributed to several books and edited others. Most recently, he authored Have We Lost Our Minds? Neuroscience, Neurotheology, the Soul, and Human Flourishing. Stan produces two monthly podcasts: Thinking Christianly, with Dr. J. P. Moreland, and College Faith. He also helps give leadership to the Lausanne Movement’s Academic Ministry and Educators Network and is on the board of Apologetics on Mission. His apologetic interests include the philosophy of science and ontology—the nature of reality.

Stan has been married to his college sweetheart, Lori, for 40 years, and they have four children—two daughters and two sons. He lives in the Kansas City area and enjoys reading, traveling, and good barbecue.
