For several years she owned a graphic design business in Montgomery, Alabama, and then launched a weekly magazine, which she co-owned with her husband, Ray, for 25 years, in northeast Alabama. In 1995, Nina read a book by Hugh Ross that changed her life. She and Ray soon became Monthly Partners with Reasons to Believe (RTB).
