She holds a PhD in aerospace engineering from the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru, India, and has over 37 years of experience as a scientist with the government of India. She has published over 70 research papers and authored four books. Her contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Prof. Satish Dhawan Research Award for Engineers from the government of Karnataka, the Agni Award for Excellence in Self-Reliance, and the Karnataka Women Achievers’ Award.

She holds a master of divinity from Southern Asia Bible College, Bengaluru, and an MA in Christian studies from Madras University. She is pursuing a PhD in theology from ACTS Group of Institutions, Bengaluru, focusing on human uniqueness in the advent of artificial general intelligence. She has also created a 20-episode YouTube series, “Grand Cosmic Story,” demonstrating how the first chapter of Genesis aligns with scientific discoveries. As the founder of the Deborah Rise Movement, she empowers women and provides faith-based counseling and support.

Dr. Christie’s two sons work in the US, one as a computer software engineer and the other as an infectious disease doctor. She enjoys traveling, reading, writing, mentoring, and speaking at conferences.
