Kathryn (Katy) Eggeman

Katy Eggeman received her PhD in biochemistry from the University of Kansas, where she studied the structure of neuronal glutamate receptors. During her postdoc at the University of Colorado, she investigated neuronal models for memory formation. She then became a full-time mother, taught Sunday school, and volunteered at schools and several church ministries, including Bible Study Fellowship and Crossroads Prison Ministries. Katy spent 10 years developing curriculum and teaching junior and senior high school science classes at Christian home-school enrichment programs. She uses her background in Scripture and education to translate scientific reasons to believe in God to the layperson.
