Biography
Gordon Arbuthnot holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and master’s degree in chemical engineering, both from Georgia Tech. After graduating he was employed by Eli Lilly & Co., where he initially refined and scaled up the manufacturing processes of new pharmaceuticals, and later led global teams of chemists, engineers, pharmacists, and other scientists to create, scale-up, and register with government agencies, the commercial manufacturing process for new pharmaceutical agents. Soon after retiring and completing coursework in apologetics, Gordon, with others, started the RTB Indianapolis chapter, which he led for 10 years. Gordon has served on the RTB board of directors since 2016. He enjoys spending time in Highlands, NC, playing video games, using Apple technology, and having fun with his two granddaughters. Gordon and his wife, Allyson, have been married over 47 years and live in Indianapolis, IN.
