Biography
André Van Mol, MD, is a board-certified family physician who’s been in full-time practice for 30 years in California. His education includes a bachelor’s degree in biosciences from the University of Southern California and an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at Charleston Naval Hospital and flight surgeon training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute. He cochairs the Christian Medical & Dental Association’s (CMDA) Sexual & Gender Identity Task Force and is the transgenderism scholar for both the CMDA and the American Academy of Medical Ethics. André serves as an elder at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and apologetics has been a fire in his gut since adolescence during the 1970s. He uses the many excellent materials available—including RTB’s resources—in his lectures and apologetics writing.
André, his wife Evelyn, and their two youngest children love to walk, hike, fish, swim, and camp in the outdoors of far northern California, which offers seemingly limitless places to enjoy God’s creation. They also enjoy cooking, gardening, games, and family movie nights.
