God Values Human Beings – Even the Tiniest Ones Blog by Guest Writer ( October 6, 2022 ) Human beings seem to be more morally confused today than ever. In fact, even the answer to the monumental question Who is a human being? doesn’t seem clear. Culturally, the battle over abortion rages between “life” and “choice,” and related questions lie in the center of the firestorm. In this brief post, I’ll state a […] Bible
Apologia Sophia: “Apologetics Wisdom” 1—Attitude Blog by Kenneth Samples ( February 26, 2019 ) Apologia sophia (Gk: ἀπολογία σοφία) transliterates the Greek word endings and roughly translates to “apologetics wisdom.” Since I am an adjunct professor for Biola University’s MA program in apologetics, I teach and interact with many students who are preparing for a career in apologetics or are studying to deepen their knowledge and sharpen their skills in the field. Thus, as a teacher and a full-time scholar at RTB, I hope the following series gives practical advice—and even some genuine wisdom—when it comes to the apologetics enterprise (the art and science of giving a reasoned defense of Christianity; see 1 Peter 3:15). Take Up and Read: Saved by Grace Blog by Kenneth Samples ( November 14, 2017 ) This current blog series on Reflections is intended to encourage Christians to read more vigorously by providing a beginner’s guide to some of the Christian classics in such fields as theology, philosophy, and apologetics. Hopefully a very brief introduction to these important Christian texts will motivate today’s believers, as St. Augustine was called to in his dramatic conversion to Christianity, to “take up and read” (Latin: Tolle lege) these classic books. Smokers Not Healthy for Life Publication by Anjeanette Roberts ( May 2, 2010 ) Most people now recognize that smoking takes years off of one’s life. But if it wasn’t for smokers, life’s start wouldn’t be possible—at least according to some origin-of-life researchers. Origin of Life & Astrobiology

Thank God for Jupiter Publication by Hugh Ross ( July 19, 2010 ) I spent most of my childhood in Vancouver, British Columbia. On those rare winter days when we did get snow it was wet and slushy. Consequently, getting hit by a snowball in Vancouver was a much more unpleasant experience than in other parts of Canada. I quickly learned the value of building a strong snow fort before getting involved in a snowball fight. Creation Views
