Museum of the Bible Features Fazale Rana in Newest Exhibit, Scripture and Science
Reasons to Believe (RTB) is excited and proud to announce that our very own Dr. Fazale “Fuz” Rana will be featured in Museum of the Bible’s (MOTB) newest exhibit debuting January 20, 2023 at the Washington D.C museum.

The museum has been hard at work planning this new addition for more than three years. In the summer of 2019, museum staff invited Dr. Fazale Rana, Dr. Hugh Ross, and Dr. Nick Tavani, RTB Washington DC Chapter president and past RTB visiting scholar, to become part of the consultant team advising them on aspects of the exhibit.
Before arriving, the scholars were sent a draft of the exhibit’s design, which included proposed artifacts, displays, and descriptions. They were then asked to offer a peer review and suggestions for additional content. The three experts visited in August of that year to have roundtable discussions on what the exhibit should feature.
Dr. Ross and Dr. Rana returned home to cowrite a 40-page document detailing what should be included scientifically and historically.
“They were thrilled with our work,” Dr. Ross said. “They stated that what we proposed would appeal to almost everyone visiting the MOTB. They loved the connections we made between science and the Bible and how those connections increased, rather than decreased, peoples’ confidence in the reliability and trustworthiness of the Bible.”
Then a global pandemic put the project on hold. A film crew later came in December 2022 to shoot footage of Dr. Rana in the RTB headquarters studio, where he spoke on a variety of topics ranging from the question of the origin of life to providing examples of fine-tuning.
We won’t know how Dr. Rana will be featured in the exhibit until the opening night event that he and Dr. Ross plan to attend. Stay tuned for more updates and photos when they become available.
