TNRTB Classic: Imitating Nature
As a frequent reader of scientific literature, I often come across articles highlighting the innovations derived from biological organisms. The growing discipline of biomimetics testifies to this trend. One example I described earlier shows how studies of shrimp eyes inspire scientists to create better optical devices. The fact that scientists gain technological insight from biology makes the most sense if there is a Creator who fashioned and sustains all life present on Earth.
