TNRTB CLASSIC: Earth’s Interior Benefits
Powerful impact events early in Earth’s history transformed the planet from toxic to life-friendly. Heating of the Earth’s core allowed the planet to sustain a strong magnetic field billions of years later. Not until a couple billion years ago did the crust cool enough to support tall mountains that yield nutrients (through erosion) to the oceans. Yet Earth retains enough heat so the continents are able to stick out from the oceans. The finely balanced transfer of heat throughout Earth’s history points to a divine hand, ensuring the planet fulfills its purpose by hosting an abundance of life as described in Isaiah 45:18.
