Science Constrained by Truth

Lawrence Krauss’ latest book reaffirms that science is constrained by the truth, not beauty or ideology, which is consistent with RTB’s creation model. Some scientists want science restricted to only naturalistic explanations. However, as described in Krauss’ book, the tremendous success of science over the past few hundred years is due to its rigorous model testing. Increasing mathematical sophistication precipitated many of the advances, but mathematical beauty by itself was not sufficient to advance scientific understanding. Similarly, RTB argues that restricting science to the philosophy of methodological naturalism (only one model) limits the power and reach of the scientific process to accurately discern the truth.
