Certificate

The Intermediate Certificate in Science Apologetics allows students to dig deeper into the distinctive features of RTB's creation model approach. It consists of two Intermediate courses.

Prerequisite: Basic Certificate

Length: Evangelism in a Scientific Context + One 8-week course

Required:

• Evangelism in a Scientific Context
  

Complete ONE of the following:

• Creation vs. Evolution
• Astronomy and Design
• World Religions and Science (8 weeks)
• Critical Thinking Skills

The Advanced Certificate in Science Apologetics provides students with the opportunity to take advanced graduate seminars investigating the distinctive features of RTB's creation model approach and the reliability of the Bible. It consists of two Advanced courses.

Prerequisite: Intermediate Certificate

• Advanced Seminar on Astronomy and Design
• Advanced Seminar in Origins of Life
• Advanced Seminar on Human Origins
• One of our intensive modules offered through Tozer Seminary, Biola or Southern Evangelical Seminary (these are on-campus courses).

Students working toward a certificate are required to do the following:

• Listen to lectures and videos,

• Read textbooks and articles,

• Participate in weekly threaded discussions with other students,

• Answer all study questions,

• Submit one short paper (e.g. video report, book review),

• Take the final exam.

Students are expected to complete each certificate level within 3 years of the start of the first class. Certificate courses offer no college credit and cannot be upgraded for college credit at a later time.
