Francisco Delgado was born in Mexico. He completed his premedical studies at the University of Arizona and received his medical degree with honors from Universidad La Salle in Mexico City. After finishing his residency in internal medicine in Miami Beach, Florida, he went on to complete the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Delgado is a member of a large multispecialty group in the Indianapolis area. This group provides care for patients with diseases such as HIV/AIDS, travel-related and transplant-related infections, and hepatitis C. He is also involved in clinical research studies relating to SARS-CoV-2. He is the chair of the antimicrobial stewardship committee at one of the major hospitals in Indianapolis, where he also teaches internal medicine.
Dr. Delgado became a Christian in 1989 while at the University of Arizona. He discovered RTB in 1997 while researching the different views on Genesis among Christians. He is active with the RTB Indianapolis, IN Chapter and lives in Carmel, Indiana, with his wife and three daughters.
