Our Vision
RTB Shreveport serves as an extension of Reasons To Believe in the Shreveport-Bossier area, disseminating scientific evidence supporting the belief that faith in the God of the Bible is rooted in testable truth.
Our Mission
We exist to impact our local communities by sharing evidence—especially from cutting-edge science research—to encourage faith in the God of the Bible. We seek to establish a dialogue with non-believers, remove the doubts of skeptics, and strengthen the faith of believers.
Specifically, chapters serve the RTB ministry by:
- Providing support and encouragement to its members
- Producing RTB-trained apologists
- Promoting RTB resources in the Christian community
- Partnering with other ministries
- Providing outreach opportunities
- Responding to skeptics’ inquiries
- Developing a speakers’ network
