Founded in 1986, Reasons To Believe is an international, interdenominational ministry established to communicate the uniquely factual basis for belief in the Bible as the error-free Word of God and for personal faith in Jesus Christ as Creator and Savior.
Science and Faith: Allies or Enemies?

Many people assume that science and faith are at odds with one another. The common response - we must either choose between them or keep them apart.
The mission of Reasons To Believe is to show that science and faith are, and always will be, allies, not enemies. Our mission is to bring that life-changing truth to as many people as possible, both believers and unbelievers.
It is our conviction that since the same God who "authored" the universe also inspired the writings of the Bible, a consistent message will come through both channels. In other words, the facts of nature will never contradict the words of the Bible when both are properly interpreted.
We want to help unbelievers find answers to those questions that bar them from entrusting their lives to Christ. And we want to help Christians find new joy and confidence in worshiping the Creator as they shed their fear of science.
So, whether you are a skeptical inquirer, a new Christian, or one who has enjoyed a long relationship with the Lord, we look forward to providing you with materials that will keep you informed about up-to-the-minute scientific discoveries and how they harmonize with God's revelation in the words of the Bible.

The frontiers of science feed the front lines of Christian outreach. Every month's new discoveries about the cosmos, largest scale to smallest, add more evidence to the already weighty case for a transcendent, personal Creator, none other than the God of the Bible. Scientific research has provided us with more than sufficient reason to believe that His Word is true and, thus, every reason to trust Him, to receive the redemption He graciously offers through Jesus Christ.

Publications
We offer books, pamphlets, articles and reading lists to keep readers current on scientific findings and their spiritual implications. Friends of the ministry will receive a monthly newsletter, called Staying Connected, which includes ministry updates and a quarterly newsletter, called Connections, which includes short science news and apologetics articles.
Television
Watch (or record) the "Reasons To Believe" television show which airs in most areas on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Please check local listings for program times. An archive of recent shows is also available on our Web site 24 hours a day.

Each year Dr. Ross and other RTB apologists accept many requests from organizations in the U.S., Canada, and abroad. Science Apologetics Hotline
Specially trained volunteer apologists answer individual's questions about the Bible and science over the phone and through the mail. The phone hotline is available from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. (PT), seven days a week, at (626) 335-5282.

Our Plans
Our strategic goal is to broaden our impact by equipping and multiplying communicators of RTB's unique message. Still too few people—both inside the Christian community and outside—know of our existence and the resources we offer. We plan to:
- Enhance our Internet offering.
- Expand our speaking team.
- Organize "think tanks" in a variety of disciplines (we already have a biologists group) that can help us develop new tools and strategies, as well as keep fingers on the spiritual pulse of secular society.
- Write more books (three of Dr. Ross' six to date have been on Christian bookstores' bestseller lists) and articles for Christian and secular publications.
- Produce more materials targeted specifically toward children, young people, educators, and foreign languages.
Everyone involved in the ministry of Reasons To Believe—our volunteers, staff, and board of directors—believes that he or she brings God-given talents to a special team assembled by God for the purpose of helping to fulfill the Great Commission.
